I'm returning to this place in Whitechapel (see images “Altered # 1“ & “Altered # 2“). It is based on Gunthorpe Street, what used to be George Yard. This is where Martha Tabram was murdered (off to the left, beyond the building on the immediate left). The original building is no longer there except for a small section. I keep going back to this place because this may have been Jack the Ripper’s first kill on August 7, 1888. Most killers kill what is closest to them. I wonder if he lived very close to this location…
